Jenny Alderden, PhD, APRN, CCRN, CCNS

Dr. Jenny Alderden is an Associate Professor at Boise State University. During her service as the lead nurse for a shock trauma platoon in the Iraq war, she observed the significant effects of pressure injuries, leading her to focus on prevention. Merging her clinical insights with technology, Alderden employs informatics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to improve pressure injury risk assessment in critical care patients. She is the recipient of the 2022 Impact Award from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
