The goal of tissue regeneration is to provide the patient with a functional limb or other body part. In order to facilitate this wound repair the practitioner must often employ auxiliary tissue enhancing methods. The session will seek to organize and rationalize the use of cellular, acellular, human derived, and non-human derived, biologic, and non-biologic materials that are currently being used and/or developed to close wounds. In addition synchronous and metachronous use of such a therapies will be outlined. Representative cases will be highlighted.
