Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the clinical impact of NPWT and Collagen with Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose (ORC) and Silver in the wound environment
  • Explore some of the main factors that affect periwound integrity
  • Review the role of novel silicone-acrylic drape with negative pressure wound therapy in patients with periwound skin breakdown
  • Examine, via cases, the clinical outcomes from combining Collagen with Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose (ORC) and Silver with NPWT
